Yo Bobby, Glad to see you're still out there... all I know of your awesome stage ability is the Talent Show in San Blas, Jan 04, singing La Bamba...
Dude, you saved my life. In the midst of that most melodramatic of all life events "ditched by your girlfriend in Mexico"... I can laugh about it now-= don;t know if I would have survived it if i hadn't run into you and your buddy on the beach.
We rented a car with some other NorteAmericano flotsam in Tepic and drove abck to the states at 160 kph. The car had a CD deck, and the only CD we had was Billy Midnight. Wow. Amazing stuff, country rock at its best, the most mournful, down-and-out, angst-ridden lyrics I'd heard in ages. Girlfriend hated it to the same degree that I dug it, so it wasn't hard to cadge the disc from her, tho she was in no mood to give me anything but her dust.
You were headed where? Guanojuato? Zacatecas? I don't remember. I met a woman more amenable and got married. Now live in Boulder Utah, which is a long way from the corporate madness. Keep up the good work. We're all cells, connected together in the Great Body of Collective Consciousness. Healthy Cell, or cancer cell? It's our choice.
beyond the solar glow is such a good song, one of my favorites. to bad the video you posted on your website cuts out just when its about to get good. you guys have a demo yet?
