Order "Can't Stop The Night" Today!

We are proud to present the release of our first full-length CD, "Can't Stop The Night." The album features 12 tracks that span the Bobby Fantasy canon and capture their genre blending sound. Infectious dance beats, passionate vocals, a kaleidoscope of synthesizers and guitars and tongue-in-cheek storytelling.

Creating Club Tropicana @ The Radio Room!

It was a mellow night with a handful of faithfuls to take in the sights and sounds of the band. Sometimes the intimate nights are the best. Zeke did an amazing job behind the soundboard. It was such a relief after the sonic mishaps at Onyx Room the week before. Downtown clubs are just not fluent in the language of rock bands (with the exception of Eric @ the Stage). Jason and Sarah got Church's Chicken biscuits after the show.

Murmurs of the Marmara

Our musical journey continues along the shores of the Sea of Marmara. Istanbul (once called Constantinople by the Roman Empire and before that, Byzantium, by the ancient Greeks) is uniquely perched on a peninsula that is separated from an identical peninsula that lies about 1 mile across the Bosphorus river. This divide marks the boundary of Europe and Asia. Culturally, Istanbul is both Western and Eastern. This mix of music that I gathered while traveling is my attempt at capturing the sonic experience of floating around the Bosphorus and Sea of Marmara. I imagined hearing the music of modern Turkey reflected amongst its joyfully tangled structures - mosques and markets. This mix is more ambient and less song-oriented than my previous (Songs in the Key of Asia Minor). Perfect for small parties or an evening tea on the patio. Play it for your relatives from Kansas and freak 'em out. Enjoy!

Songs In The Key of Asia Minor (pt. 1)

I just returned from traveling in Greece and Turkey. Of course, my trusty transistor radio was tuned into the local stations along the way. Greece's airwaves were flooded with pulsing dance music that ranges from overproduced Britney Spearsesque club music to more hard-edged electro pop. Turkey is where the music really changes key. The music in Istanbul was a blend of DJ beats, sufi (spiritual) and traditional folk music. I pillaged every music store I could find for the music that poured out of my little handheld radio. This mix sonically represents my journey from Athens to Crete to the Dodecanese islands to Istanbul and back. It's meant to give the listener the sensation of drifting across the Aegean Sea. The music represents that special place where eastern and western music come together and blend inextricably. Enjoy the soundtrack. I recommend listening to it in the late afternoon with the doors open and a small cup of Turkish coffee in your hands.

Songs in this mix (listed below) appear in their entirety or transitional portions. Many of the tunes are culled from artists who are part of the Double Moon label's roster. If you like the music, I highly recommend checking out their website (http://www.doublemoon.com.tr/). This mix is only available in streaming format.
