Did you miss their debut at the Casbah? Did you, by chance, rip into the outside with them at The Whistle Stop? Say what? You gotta be crazy. Do yourself a favor and be absolutely sure to catch the Fantasy at their third show @ The Beauty Bar on May 12. The boys are working on new songs to debut on this evening. Word on the street is that Bobby Fantasy is San Diego's top band right now. However, we have no real way to substantiate this claim. Who could deny such a claim? We'll take it.

The Return of Bobby Fantasy

This may well be the 4th or 5th return that this band has proclaimed. Nevertheless, this return is the ONE that matters most. There's been a lot of talk about there being old music and new music. At the Casbah we will show San Diego what is Fantasy music. We'll be playing a range of songs that touch upon electro-dance, pop and indie rock. Dominic Carrillo joins us on drums, Ben Krueger on guitar, Matt Gross maintains bass and Jason Hee slathers a delicious layer of synths and keys over the songs. The focus of the group is to play tight, energetic music that conjures dreams, stimulates gyrations and sends me (Bobby) into a whirling frenzy. Let it be said, Bobby Fantasy is not me. This is a band. I've renounced the name Bobby Fantasy. I am simply Bobby... Bobby Shaddox.This band is my fantasy. This band is what I've always wanted to do with my life.
